Proverbs 8

Proverbs 8:34-35

NIV:   Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD.

Message:   Blessed the man, blessed the woman, who listens to me,
awake and ready for me each morning, alert and responsive as I start my day’s work. When you find me, you find life, real life, to say nothing of God’s good pleasure.

What is the last thing God spoke to you?

The last thing god spoke to me was to take an extra step closer, not only to him but to whag & blvd. It was like he was telling me to get involved in ministry, and to find the right ministry for me. By doing that, I’ll find out a purpose for serving, and i did. I felt that in the ministry I am in, I wanted new people to blvd to feel just like i did when i first went to blvd, which was very welcomed, and it made me want to come back every week. Also as a coach, i feel that i’m delievering a message to the middle school students, by not only getting involved, but glorifying gods name while playing their sport, and how to create a better relationship with god.

Jesus came to be a servant and not to be served. We should take this attitude each day so that He may shine through us to others. God has told me to be a better servant to my family. It has been very hard taking care of my mother and the extreme change Martha and I have been going through. Proverbs 3 fits this perfectly, and He told me to persevere as He will not give me more than I can handle. God shows me that it is a blessing to serve my family and that He has a hand on my shoulder each step I take. Thank you Lord for this blessing.
